HOW DO I APPLY?
Step 1: Complete the Visitor Homestay Request online. Click here to download the Visitor Homestay Request form. Return the completed application via e-mail or fax to 617-321-4009.
Step 2: Submit payment for the Placement Fee of $125
Step 3: Receive confirmation of Homestay Placement details from Homestay Coordinator
Step 4: Contact your host to introduce yourself and provide arrival details
Step 5: Arrive to Boston and homestay!
Once the visitor request form and application fee are received, we begin the placement process. If there are any questions with the application, the e-mail provided in the request form will be contacted. The placement process takes approximately 1 week but it is always best to apply early once you have your visa.
A placement fee of $125 is due upon submission of homestay request form. Payment options include: Paypal (Buy Now below), credit card or wire transfer. Please contact our office for wire transfer details or with questions.
Our services include careful screening of hosts, appropriate placement that matches the visitor’s needs and preferences, assistance for the visitor and host in the case of misunderstandings or questions throughout the stay, and all administrative duties to help make the stay a positive experience.
Notice of cancellation and/or postponement received 30 days or more prior to move-in will result in a full refund of the placement fee. Any cancellation or postponement within 30 days results in a forfeiture of the fee.
